Bright is an urban fantasy film series by Netflix.
The series is set in an alternate reality in which humans and mythical creatures co-exist with one another, with the film following Daryl Ward, an LAPD police officer as he partners up with rookie cop and the first Orc to join the force, Nick Jakoby. A routine night patrol leads the two to find a cryptic female Elf, Tikka, with a magic wand, a powerful artifact only a Bright can wield. They learn that she is being hunted down by the evil and powerful rogue elf Leilah and her terrorist group, who are trying to resurrect the Dark Lord, an evil entity that was defeated 2,000 years ago. Now Ward and Jakoby attempt to protect Tikka and the wand; otherwise the world will be destroyed.
