Corpse Bride is a stop-motion animated film directed by Mike Johnson and Tim Burton and distributed by Warner Bros.
Set in an English village in the 1800s, Victor Van Dort, the son of nouveau riche fish merchants, and Victoria Everglot, the neglected daughter of impoverished aristocrats, prepare for their arranged marriage. After messing up his wedding rehearsal, Victor practice his vows his own, alone in the forest. However, he accidentally puts the ring upon the hand of a corpse of a woman named Emily, who rises from the grave and proclaims herself as Victor's new wife, and transports him to the Land of the Dead, a colorful and whimsical realm in which the spirits of the deceased reside.
