For detailed information about this series, see: Disney Princess Wiki
Disney Princess is a series by Disney focused on various Princesses from Disney movies.
It was created as a line of toys centered around the Princess theme rather than being promotional material for each individual movie. It was later consolidated as a series by featuring various fictional media and a consistent line-up of characters. The line-up was expanded over the years to include princesses from newer movies, sometimes officially introduced in live "coronation ceremonies".
The current official line-up includes 13 princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora (usually referred to as Sleeping Beauty), Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana, and Raya.
Note that singular movies (or other works) starring these characters are sometimes improperly collectively considered the "Disney Princess" series, but that's not the case in this Wiki.
