Laugh Busters is a 1984 television special that aired on NBC to promote its Saturday morning fall lineup. In the special, Gargamore O'Dette kidnaps NBC's newest cartoon characters and sends his henchmen to stop live actors from arriving, and it is up to the Director D.W. and his assistant to rescue them and foil Gargamore's plan.
