Orphan is a psychological horror film series first created by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by David Leslie Johnson from a story by Alex Mace.
The series revolves around Leena Klammer, a violent Estonian serial killer with hypopituitarism, a rare hormonal disorder that stunted her physical growth and caused proportional dwarfism. Under the fake name "Esther", she impersonates a family’s missing daughter in order to kill the family and seduce the father.
