The (unofficially called) Progressive series, is a series of commercials for the insurance company Progressive Corporation starring fictionalized versions of their salespeople, most prominently the enthusiastic Flo. Since the commercials feature fictional characters, places, and story, this is considered a fictional series.
Flo was introduced in commercials in 2008 and over 100 commercials were produced starring the character. Some introduced other supporting characters and occasionally expanded upon the character's background, most notably the 100th commercial introduced the other members of Flo's family. A male counterpart to Flo called Jamie was introduced in 2013 as a sort of sidekick to her, and later received commercials centered around himself. Throughout 2020, other co-worker characters would appear via video call with their names being Mara, Alan, Lucy, and Rodney.
An online game starring Flo, called Flo: Minion Nation was also released in 2013 to promote the movie Despicable Me 2.
Some merchandise based on the character was also released.
