Tenacious D is a series that features rock duo JB and KG (also known as Jables and Kage), the fictionalised versions of members Jack Black and Kyle Gass.
Despite being about an actual band, the series is a fictitious story about the band's origins. Tenacious D fictionalizes many aspects of the band for comedic effect. The series features absurd and fantastical storylines that often involve supernatural elements and surreal situations. Media that includes the film, tv series, graphic novel and music videos always portray a fictional narrative.
Note: Only references to the movie, TV series, music videos and the graphic novel are considered. Any references to the actors or the band in real life outside of a fictional context are also not considered.
