Transmetropolitan is a cyberpunk transhumanist comic book series created by Warren Ellis and Darick Robertson, published by Vertigo, an imprint of DC Comics.
The series follows Spider Jerusalem, a brilliant, drug-addled gonzo journalist in a hyper-technological, dystopian future. Forced out of self-imposed exile to fulfill a book contract, he returns to "The City" to fight political corruption, police brutality, and media manipulation, targeting two successive—and deeply corrupt—Presidents of the United States.
