Wolverine is a superhero series originally created by Len Wein and John Romita Sr, and published by Marvel Comics.
The series follows James "Logan" Howlett, a Mutant with an enhanced healing factor, heightened senses, and sharp bone claws on each hand. Abandoning his family after the manifestation of his mutation, Logan wandered the world, living a reclusive life in the wilderness before being kidnapped by the Weapon X Program, forcibly experimented on through a painful procedure that had his bones coated in indestructible Adamantium alloy. After he escaped, Logan began work as an intelligence operative for the Canadian government's Department H, becoming the Wolverine. Logan was later approached by Charles Xavier to join the X-Men.
